Demos typically have between 3,000 and 7,000 miles from dealership use. That's it.
Never registered
You're the first titled owner. The vehicle has never been registered, so it's still sold as new.

Current Hyundai rebates, financing offers, and lease incentives through Hyundai Motor Finance still apply to demo specials.
Balance of the factory warranty
You get the remaining new-vehicle warranty, including the Hyundai 10-year / 100,000-mile powertrain warranty.
Priced below comparable new models
Because of the starting mileage, each demo is priced lower than an equivalent new Hyundai on the lot.
Lease with full mileage
Leases start at the current odometer reading, so you get every mile of your agreed annual allowance.
Demo special questions
What is a demo special?
A demo special is a new Hyundai that the dealership has used as a short-term dealership vehicle. It has never been registered or titled to an individual, so it's still sold as a new vehicle, just with some miles on the odometer.
How many miles does a demo have?
Typically between 3,000 and 7,000 miles. The exact mileage for each vehicle is shown on the vehicle details page when you click, "View Details" on a specific vehicle above.
Is it considered new or used?
New. Because a demo has never been registered, you'll be the first owner on the title, and it's financed, leased, and warranted as a new vehicle.
Do I still get the Hyundai warranty?
Yes. You receive the balance of the manufacturer's new-vehicle warranty, including the 10-year / 100,000-mile powertrain warranty. Coverage terms run from the original in-service date, so a few thousand demo miles are simply deducted from the total.
Do current incentives apply?
Yes. Demo specials qualify for the same Hyundai Motor Finance rebates, special APR offers, and lease incentives available on any new Hyundai at the time of purchase. Some rebates, such as Military, First Responder, and others offered by Hyundai Motor America do not apply. These incentives are often considered conditional, and ones that not everyone can qualify for, even with non-demo vehicles.
Can I lease a demo special?
Yes. The lease begins at the vehicle's current odometer reading, so your mileage allowance counts from there. If you choose a 12,000-mile-per-year lease, you still get the full 12,000 miles each year.
Why are demo specials priced lower?
The starting mileage is the only difference between a demo and a comparable new Hyundai, so we price demos below the equivalent new model to reflect it.
