AutoFair Hyundai Green Initiatives
- AutoFair Hyundai participates in the EPA Energy Star program, tracking their energy usage through the Energy Star Portfolio Manager, and have taken the EPA & NADA Energy Star Challenge to continually reduce their energy consumption by 10%.
- AutoFair Hyundai has developed and implemented an Energy Star purchase policy and program to ensure that all electronic equipment that is purchased is Energy Star rated.
- AutoaFair Hyundai has made the switch and is using non-toxic green cleaning chemicals to minimize exposure to toxins in the workplace and improve employee and customer health.
- AutoFair Hyundai has begun a single-stream recycling at all Autofair stores.
GENESIS FOREST PROJECT
- Hyundai Corporately supports "The Genesis Forest Project" which protects over 3000 acres of Tropical Forest in Brazil
- The AutoFair Green Committee, made up of AutoFair Automotive group employees and the environmental affairs specialist from the New Hampshire Automobile Dealers Association (NHADA), meet on a monthly basis to discuss environmental issues and projects for the automotive group. The Autofair automotive group is an active participant in NHADA's Road Map to Sustanability Initiative.
