2010 Genesis Coupe

2010 Hyundai Genesis Coupe

Check out our New Hyundai Genesis Inventory!!!

Summary

The 2010 Hyundai Genesis is a totally new luxury sport sedan. Boasting rear-wheel drive and a power packed V-8 engine, it should be in the same category as the BMW 5 series - but without the pricetag. You can buy the Hyundai Genesis with either a V-6 or V-8 engine.  Genesis represents its biggest step and is the company's most expensive and most luxurious car.

Full Review 2010

Inside, the Genesis is well-equipped and features wood trim, soft-touch materials,  electroluminescent gauges, chrome accents, aluminum trim, and available navigation system.  Both the front and rear seats are plenty roomy. It's too bad that given all the great reviews it's still looked upon as an economy car brand.

Exterior Styles

The 2010 Hyundai Genesis is available in a base model 3.8 and the 4.6 trim level. Both are rear-wheel drive. Th 3.6 features power front seats, 17-inch alloy wheels, leather, foglights,  dual-zone automatic climate control, heated front seats, keyless entry and ignition, a leather-wrapped steering wheel with audio and cruise controls, and Bluetooth. Get the Premium package and add auto windshield wipers, power tilt and telescoping steering wheel, sunroof, rear power sunshade, and driver memory system. The Premium Navigation system adds a rearview camera, navigation and 18-inch wheels.

Interior Style Design

Inside the Genesis Coupe looks like anything but an economy-brand car. It's beautifully designed and its appointments are upscale. The seats, both front and rear, are well-padded and are perfectly comfortable for that road trip you long to take once you sit behind the wheel.

First Drive 2010

The Genesis performs like a luxury car too.  No matter what you ask it to do, the Genesis performs it perfunctorily. The steering is light and the power behind it is competitive with any luxury brand. The cabin is well insulated from exterior noise.   "Hyundai cleared the fence with the Genesis. The high level of quality, refinement and performance of our top-of-the-line 4.6L V8 test car amazed everyone who has sat behind its wheel." says  Road and Track

2010 Conclusions

The Genesis is a great choice for a premium sedan or as an alternative to more established luxury sedans. It offers Smooth and powerful engines, roomy interior, comfortable ride, plenty of standard features and options, top safety scores, good value for the money, generous warranty. The 2010 Hyundai Genesis capitalizes on a successful inaugural year by adding adaptive cruise control, an electronic parking brake and touchscreen navigation. This year, premium leather is included for well-appointed 3.8 models.
