The Hyundai Accent returns with a refresh in 2008. Another in the Hyundai lineup that presents more room on the inside than is evident from the outside, the standard features and overall value are hard to beat.

Full 2008 Review 

The Accent features a 1.6-liter double overhead-cam engine. The Accent was last redesigned in 2006, just a few years ago but Hyundai has upped their game by reintroducing the Accent with even more features than before.

Trim Lineup and Safety 2008 

 The 2008 Hyundai Accent is offered in the GS coupe, or GLS four-door, SE coupe and the Blue coupe trim levels.

 Standard safety features include dual front airbags, side curtain and front seat side impact airbags, and front seatbelt pre-tensioners. The overall look of the car is understated but sophisticated.

Interior Design and Features 

Inside, the Accent features two-tone color, upscale trim and a more expensive feeling ambiance. Interior features include tilt steering wheel, remote trunk release (the trunk boasts 12.4 cubic feet of cargo space), rear 60/40 split folding seat, rear seat folding center armrest with cupholders, and cabin air filtration. Both the coupe and the sedan offer enough room in the front and rear seats - but you'll find just a twitch less room in the coupe.

Some of the other changes for the 2008 model year include the a micro roof-mounted antenna and a windshield shade band.
